creating “cerberus”

It all begins with an idea. I’ve seen this style of art before, and immediately my interest was peaked. I’ve never seen anything like it before - yet I knew this was a unique possibility to create something not many have seen before.

The process took 10 hours of repeated hammer strikes, precisely chosen to create the necessary contrast you see in the final piece. Stress fractures from the repeated force did occur, but looking back on it now, I think its a beautiful element that reminds us of how much we can truly take before we break.
